Beautiful tent, easy to set up
This is such a simple set up. I love the material it’s made from and how we could take it almost anywhere. It’s so much bigger than I realized and provides ample shade. Perfect for my family of five!
Absolutely awesome service! Thank you!
I’m impressed with the quality of this shade cover.
I’ve been using a shade system that uses steel poles and a parachute/camo netting cover for music festivals, etc. The whole system took up a tone of room in my truck. If I’m going somewhere for 5 days or more, it’s worth it, but for weekend trips it’s too much. The Neso is a perfect lightweight replacement that can do short festival trips or beach trips, and it will probably even be used in my backyard from time to time.
I ordered the extra poles and lawn stake conversion kit. Everything, all the different options, fit easily in the included bag. Thank you for that Neso, I hate it when you buy a new tent, and it never fits back into the bag it’s supposed to be stored in, and don’t even think about adding a few extra things in there. I can even fit some different stakes and a mallet to drive them. I love having a good back for everything, AND there’s an insulated pocket, big enough for a couple cold ones.
Like I said, I got the extra poles so I can use it for a base camp shade at festivals. I tried it out with just two poles though, and it seems like that will be perfect for the beach.
Everything seems well made, and well thought out. The poles are thick and sturdy, with a good cushion ball thing to keep it from ripping the cover. It would be nice if there were holes in the feet of the poles to give the option of staking it down. Not a problem on the sand, but I’m afraid they’ll slip a little on grass or hard dirt.
I like that this product is flexible enough to be attached to other things too, like a tree, a car, a fence, etc.
My only negative, which is part of the overall concept, is that the foot print is pretty big once it’s set up. I usually go to a beach with tons of room, and hardly any people, so not a problem for me, but if you plan to use it at a super crowded beach, you might have people tripping over the guy lines. If you’ve looked at this product though, you’ve probably already considered this.
We are San Diego beach campers and have seen people using their Neso’s on the beach. We started asking people how they liked it and everyone we asked raved about them. We have gone through so many pop-up canopies due to wind and poor quality and sometimes we end up enduring the hot sun because we can’t bring ourselves to haul them down to the beach. When we found out how lightweight the Neso Grande was we were sold. We surprised my parents with one for Christmas and splurged and bought ourselves one also. Such fun prints! I wanted to make sure my kids could easily spot us on the beach when the currents carry them down shore and they lose their sense of direction. We haven’t had a chance to use these yet but can’t wait! Also bought my dad the Neso cap and it looks so nice on him. He says it’s very comfortable. Love giving local companies our business and figured the hat would help spread the word lol.
